Our bell was ringing one last time and Arne Lützen is just giving the closing remarks. Today, among others, we heard Prof. Stephane Kena-Cohen Stéphane Kéna-Cohen, Prof. Angelika Kühnle and Prof. Fabrizia Negri. Thanks to everyone for contributing to and participating in #TIDE2024!
We are happily looking back to #TIDE2024 last week at Department of Chemistry (University of Cologne). Thanks again to all our attendees who made this #conference spring to life with excellent #research presentations and discussions! Also, thanks to our sponsors for enabling this great event!
Did you know that all #PhDstudents in the TIDE group can spend a funded 3-month #researchstay abroad? Marvin for example went to beautiful Boulder, #Colorado. He was working in the group of Prof. Seth Marder CU Boulder 🦬 for three month. #phdlife #research
Today, Prof. Bernd Engels from Universität Würzburg #UniWürzburg is our guest at Department of Chemistry (University of Cologne). He gave a lecture discussing the use of cluster approaches to describe #ThinFilms of #OrganicSemiconductors. Thank you for visiting us! #compchem #theochem #quantumchemistry
Congratulations Nora, you really defended your PhD work on modelling charge transport in organic semiconductors! All the best for your future career! TIDE (RTG 2591) Universität zu Köln #compchem #chargetransport #organicelectronics #materialsmodelling
Universität zu Köln’s Institute of #Physics offers a #PhD position on #ultrafastcharge & #exciton processes in organic #semiconductors 🔋Apply by 05/31 if interested in advanced #dataanalysis, #modelling & participation in TIDE (RTG 2591) research training group: stellenwerk.de/koeln/jobboers…
One invited by Klaus, two talks - me and Robert - one poster by Sven and of course a nice group run along the river! Great experience, science and ideas at #icsm24 in Dresden! TIDE (RTG 2591) Dept. Congratulations, Julia Witt! Great job!
Workshop weeks for the 2nd TIDE cohort! During the last two weeks, our new doctoral candidates got equipped with helpful skills for their PhD phase in trainings about ▪️#ScientificIntegrity, ▪️Self- and #TimeManagement, as well as ▪️#ResearchDataManagement (#C3RDM Research Management | @[email protected])
The #PhDstudents of the 2nd cohort presented their exciting projects to the whole TIDE group. We are very much looking forward to see all these great #research plans coming to life! New ideas and possible collaborations were discussed afterwards at a nice barbecue Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
