Fall sports are in full swing!!! Allen's sports PT resident, Mikaela, loves being able to provide sideline coverage throughout the season with Lovejoy High School football and cross country, as well as UT Dallas soccer.

Kendall participated in PT Texas Health Sports Medicine in Allen following a partial meniscectomy and stress fracture. After several months of rehab she has been able to return to full participation with her basketball team at Macalester College. This season her 3FG% is over 41%.

Despite the rain, we had a great time at the Allen Eagle run on Saturday morning! It was wonderful seeing everyone out there to support our local community and Allen ISD!

We love seeing our athletes make a full return to their sport after injuries. Here we have Vinny (hamstring and shoulder injury) and Jayden (ACL reconstruction), Collin College Basketball athletes back on the court! We are so proud of all their hard work in rehab. Go cougars!

Sports resident Mikaela is pictured with her former patients and current Lovejoy track & cross country runners Caden, Devin, Chloe, EJ, and Aaron at their district meet. All have made a full recovery from stress fractures. We are proud of their hard work to get back on the track!

After years of playing sports, it was time for Mike to undergo hip replacement surgery. His goals were to return to golf and playing sports with his kids. After 5 months of PT at Texas Health Sports Medicine in Allen, Mike is back to doing what he loves!

The PTs at Texas Heatlh Sports Medicine were at each of the McKinney high schools this week assisting Texas Health Orthopedic Specialists with school physicals. We're excited to be a part of getting these athletes ready for the next season!

Our Physical Therapists had the opportunity to provide medical coverage at the NCAA Gymnastics Finals in Fort Worth! Congrats to all the athletes who competed and to the University of Oklahoma for taking home the gold!

Neha tore her ACL while playing basketball last year. She underwent surgery with Dr. Parker and did her rehab at TX Health Sports Medicine in Allen. After a year of hard work in and out of the clinic, Neha is cleared for full return participation in her college ROTC program.

Big thanks to Dr. Shidlofsky, Dr. Masoud, and Janice at Neuro-Vision Associates of North Texas for teaching us all about vestibular training for sport concussion rehab and letting us play with all of their cool gadgets!

Michael tore his ACL and medial meniscus playing basketball. After thorough sports-specific therapy along with biomechanical testing at Texas Health Sports Medicine in Allen, he is back to playing basketball and lifting weights at 100%! Thanks for trusting us Michael!
