I respond to extreme pain with defiance ~ Taylor Swift This mantra has inspired me at so many levels. #perseverance #TaylorSwift #pain #Survivor
Amazing fellowship match!!! Sinai Peds- Bmore With 4 going into neonatology my theory about the water provided during NICU rotations at Sinai is proven 🤣Congrats to our senior residents!!!!
Wake up and step into a can do attitude despite the tossing and turning. #Motivation #AttitudeIsEverything #KeepItMoving
Honored to attend #impactmaryland and join the conversation about how to make our state better.
It seems the biggest news today is not #ERAS or #Match2024 it’s the dating life of #TaylorSwift BUT applicants please tighten up that application and hit send!
So proud of you, Coco Gauff! Your hard work and grit was on display throughout this tournament. This is your moment! 👏🏾
I’m on TID medication and it is hard! Even the weekly meds are tough to remember. Before labeling patients as noncompliant we should take the time to figure out strategies to support adherence to a treatment plan. #EHR #stigma #SDOH #healthcare #Pediatrics
I love it when the surgery note says the newborn was cooperative or had normal affect 😁 #Pediatrics #MedEd #residency
So #AffirmativeAction is bad but #LegacyAdmissions are good? Admission committees can be donor conscious but not race conscious? SMH #DEI #MedEd #college
Apparently I was ‘racially stereotyped’ into Johns Hopkins Medicine so I could be here making a difference for kids in Baltimore and inspire a black kid to be an MD. Here I was thinking someone saw something in me. SMH #DEI #SupremeCourtDecision #MedEd #notanormalcourt
I was a summa cum laude Chem major from University at Albany with black skin, low MCAT scores and an African accent. I would have never made it to Johns Hopkins Medicine without #AffirmativeAction #SupremeCourtDecision #MedEd
At age 4 I wanted to be a pediatrician. In a crowded ER room with a broken arm, I told my mom I will be a Dr that helps kids. Now we have pediatric ERs. And I'm a pediatrician & American Academy of Pediatrics member who advocates for quality and equitable pediatric healthcare #WeArePediatricians
