Frank Oz's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - a well-constructed & gentle comedy with the winning pairing of Steve Martin & Michael Caine. Martin goes broad with the humour, but Caine delivers a masterclass in understated comedic acting - it's a great performance. Entertaining stuff.

If you want to pursue screenwriting and are considering a move to L.A., keep a few things in mind… There is a competitive advantage to NOT being in LA as well. You don't incur those resource-sucking costs. You're not isolated without community and away from your support

A lot of people grew up when horror meant bad writing, uneven acting, meaningless gore, girls having sex, getting naked and dying, and very inconsistent effort on the technical side. So yeah, what we're seeing and doing is 'elevated' from that.
