Construction of new 2nd green Rowlands Castle Golf completed. Built by MJ Abbott Ltd and now being grown in by @kevinhensman and team.

The recent high temps may have caused some stress to golf courses in the UK, but they're certainly helping establish the new greens Rowlands Castle Golf (MJ Abbott Ltd construction) and Cowdray Golf (Profusion & Blinder construction). 20 days and 6 days since grassing respectively.

In less than 8 weeks the Academy Course Cowdray Golf has gone from a grass field to a golfing playground thanks to the hard work of Course Manager Jonathan Smith and his team, with some help from Profusion & Blinder (plus design input from Swan Golf Designs).

Construction of the Swan Golf Designs course improvement project St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club is now underway. The work includes reconstruction of all bunkers, reshaping of green surrounds and enlargement of selected water features. The work is being carried out Profusion & Blinder over two phases.

While much of the golfing world has been focussed on the Solheim Cup Team Europe and Ryder Cup Europe we've developed a design of bunkering to highlight the best features of the St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club course, working hard alongside Profusion & Blinder to deliver this vision.BIGGA East Anglia Cambridgeshire Area Golf Union

It's amazing the difference a month can make! Tough times for golf courses and golf projects throughout the latter part of October - let's hope for better days ahead.

Despite some shocking weather it was great to be back up Foxton Hall last week . We are exaggerating the dogleg on the three-shot 3rd hole, bringing the reshaped approach bunkers back into focus.

The project Cowdray Golf is continuing apace. 5 holes and 15 bunkers completed so far (along with the academy course redesign). The native Cowdray rough used to feature the bunkers is certainly making an instant impression. Profusion & Blinder Bigga Sussex Section

A beautiful start to this Tuesday morning, with what must be one of the best views of the London skyline (from a clubhouse at least).

This was a real treat of a project. Quirky greens, mean looking bunkers and a classic downland presentation. I hope the golfers find it as fun to play as it was to create.
