We had several amazing posters a few weeks ago at Research Day for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. This was an excellent opportunity for us to collaborate with ADRD researchers from many other disciplines!

We had a great time at the American Geriatrics Society meeting a couple weeks ago! There is so much important research being done internationally, and we were happy to spread some awareness about dysphagia.

Congratulations to Nicole Butz, who presented her work at the Biology 152 Poster Symposium! Her research looked at how swallowing function changes in healthy older adults.

We are very excited to announce our study, Swallowing Trajectories and Dysphagia Predictors in Alzheimer’s Disease (SPHERE), has been funded by the National Institute on Aging! We aim to learn more about the swallowing changes and risk factors associated with Alzheimer’s Disease.
