Delighted to see Shaun Carpenter representing the experiences of Derby T1 Diabetes successful peer suppprt group. Through collaboration with UHDB Diabetes & Endocrinology who highlighted the option of peer support to PWD in the service, the group now has >600 members. Very positive feedback! 👏👏👏

Today my ❤ is filled with joy! 100 years of insulin. Prior to this, Type 1 diabetes = a death sentence. Here, in 2022, we have better insulins, better glucose monitoring & now closed loop. The burden on PWD is reducing and outcomes improving. What amazing progress! 👏👏👏
