Noticed this as well The wrong data model means you’ve potentially the set back the eng team 1-2 mos Esp today where it’s very easy to spit out bad data designs quickly with llms

claude code has changed my entire coding workflow i now mostly use cursor for small edits (tab) plus image requests to update ui but for everything else (end to end features, tests, complex code) i will let opus with tackle it then clean up remaining bits back in cursor

still think vibe coding frontend is way harder than backend frontend is subjective, backend isnt your backend will work or not meanwhile frontend has to deal with “I want the padding to be 15% less on this side” or “does this layout feel right on mobile”

One thing that still surprises me is the amount of hate ai (mostly art) gets whether it’s reddit/tiktok/etc nearly all of is very hateful very different reactions to what you’d see on this site

the problem with vibe coding tools still is actually not coding related claude/cursor/lovable/bolt etc can all 1 shot simple uis but they all end up looking all the same. 0 taste. no unique look/feel, just more slop curious why no one has cracked the prompt -> good design yet

Sully (@sullyomarr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

anytime I see someone mention this I can immediately tell they have never worked closed with customer ux most people’s don’t one want new uis. They want either a single button/swipe, preferably the same as every other app they use imagine each time you open an app and the ui

took my first vacation in over 3 yrs the first 3 days were rough brought my laptop, so I kept reaching for it, barely able to enjoy the trip (kept wanting to work) by the 5th day I was eventually able to check out mentally and I gotta tell ya getting off this site and just

its in every big retailer’s interest to eventually block shopping agents humans are emotional shoppers and are easy to “trick” into upsells/ buying more items than they originally wanted agents are the complete opposite. why should retailers leave revenue on the table?

by far the best sdk for ai (typescript) and its not even close its so good that if you're not using this you're actively handicapping your team it will literally save teams yrs of eng headache

i can definitely see how ai coding could be killing dev productivity yeah sure i'm doing 3-4x more than I could possibly do before, but i'm also way more distracted finished up a ticket early? -> scroll on phone waiting for agent to wrap up some code? -> go on x feel good

Sully (@sullyomarr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

what if instead of $200/mo plans that constantly get nerfed or high api prices we get ads that just play in the background while the agent runs

Sully (@sullyomarr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

noticing ai writing slop a lot more now in my day to day, especially with normal ppl its so painfully obvious as well still surprised no one has solved the em dash / "its not x, its y"

Sully (@sullyomarr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

watch the whole video, this is actually insane. might be the craziest model drop i've seen in a while x.com/i/status/19527…

Sully (@sullyomarr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

model routing almost never works well cause people suck at explaining what they want thoroughly it’s much easier to just pick the right one according to the use case (assuming 1-3 options) for ex, sometimes I type stuff like “best monitor 1440p Reddit” and it’s much easier to

i think for coding, opus + claude code is still unbeatable on cursor however, i find sonnet slightly losing out to gpt5
