Even with today’s anemic jobs number we are still above trend on job growth since June 2022. About 6.5 million jobs over 27 months since hitting pre-Covid employment, or about 240k new jobs per month. (Yes, don’t @ me, we’ve also added trillions of debt)

Understand the frustration. Seeing these huge downward revisions doesn’t instill a lot of confidence in the data. I’ll leave it to experts to add more, but definitely the difference in the two different jobs surveys + impact of people working multiple jobs + other factors
