Weaning patients off drugs that cause dependency should be a service that is commissioned, appropriately funded and delivered by Community Pharmacies in UK. This journey is challenging and support is a key contribution factor in success.

I truly believe that covering up this report & working under a false assumption that contractors will just let it go is a huge mistake by Community Pharmacy England & Department of Health and Social Care your NDA's & closed door deals ruined our sector & impacting our communities.

Landscape of Community Pharmacy changed drastically since the last Community Pharmacy England & Department of Health and Social Care negotiations for funding. Neither party should be under a false assumption that 50%+ of the sector will sit back & accept a deal that's not simply good enough for our sector!

In a recent Hoc select committee meeting Wes Streeting admitted there has been "a real terms funding cut of 28%" for CP. We know it's closer to 60%.
