We went down to a very good Nettleham FC Sunday side yesterday morning. Despite the scoreline there were plenty of positives to take from the performance and some important minutes in the legs of some of the boys. Good luck for the season lads, you'll take some beating. #UTP

Very late reporting this but we came away with the win last weekend after travelling to Waddington. At least 60 minutes in all the players legs, a clean sheet and 5 goals. Goals by Owen Poole, Tom Pattinson and an impressive hat-trick from James Hawke sealed the victory. #UTP

We travel to Kexby tomorrow to take on Gainsborough Division 1 side and last season's Annie Lawson Cup winners Rose & Crown FC. Expecting a tough game but more minutes in the legs for the lads ahead of the season. #UTP

Not the start to the season we wanted for results or squad availablity but the effort of the 11 lads who turned out can't be faulted. We conceded an early goal which, with an unfamiliar set up, made the game a bit of an uphill struggle despite some dominating spells. #UTP
