Is our #mathonco modeling clinically relevant? Check our brand new paper Clinical Cancer Research describing a mathematical model that predicts outcomes in breast cancer patients treated with endocrine therapy and cdk4/6 inhibitors. aacrjournals.org/clincancerres/…

Here we see some patients benefit from adaptive therapy more than others, but can we predict which patients will benefit (and by how much) at the start of treatment? I'm presenting our latest work on this at #SMB2024 on Monday (July 1st)- 4pm in 221.2F SMB - Society for Mathematical Biology #mathonco

First presentation from #AndersonLab Philip Maini student at #SMB2024 by Kit Gallagher presenting new work on, Personalizing cancer treatment schedules by integrating mathematical modeling with patient data #KSMB IMO

.Maximilian Strobl combines preclinical experiments and mathematical models to better understand dynamics of resistant and sensitive cells to optimize treatments

SMB Math ONCO talks with Ray Zhang(UCI Math) and Maxi Strobl(Cleveland Clinic): Investigating glioblastoma with physics informed neural networks and models as a tool for drug scheduling in cancer treatment. #smb #ksmb KSMB-SMB2024

Very proud of this team snatching up 1st place & $50k pilot funding towards beating HR+ #ovariancancer at IMO Workshop. It was my 1st time as team lead and more than anything it was simply a lot of fun! Thanks #TeamRuby for an incredible week! Looking forward to what's next!

Attention #MathOnco friends! We'd like to put together a collage of pictures of the mathonco presence at #AACR25 for the Mathoncoblog newsletter. DM me yours by Monday (05/05) if you'd like to see yours included.

Save the date #MathOnco25! October 29th-31st in Tampa, Florida. Directly before the 13th IMO Workshop (November 3rd-7th) - stay the weekend and brainstorm the beaches! More information to follow but Centre for Evolutionary Therapy will be a key theme IMO Moffitt Cancer Center
