One week ago today, the men’s relay of #TeamNLshorttrack won Olympic 🥇. A moment that gave me goosebumps; not only because of the medal, but because I know what lies behind it: the early mornings, the setbacks, the sacrifices, the years of believing when no one was watching. 1/3

Having once been part of this world myself, it felt incredibly special to witness it from the (journalistic) side of the rink; to reconnect with (former) colleagues, to share memories, and to tell the stories that live far beyond the podium. This sport connects us for life. 2/3
