I am following most of the various pixel pundits who comment on the Trials of Donald Trump. I am enjoying how much closer the current American Legal System is to the Early Modern English system than the current English system is.

An interesting discussion by Americn lawyers of Trump's reply brief in one of his cases. It starts by introducing new material, which is very unusual in a reply brief. It sounds exactly like a Star Chamber replication. youtube.com/watch?v=Pbsd--…

The possible SCOTUS question: Even if the 14th Amendment prevents Trump from taking office as President, and thus from being on the November ballot, does it also prevent him from being included on a primary ballot? Does the constitution concern itself with primaries?

Star Chamber cases from Cornwall and Devon are now on the new map. The plan is Gwynedd next. It was going to be Yorkshire, but the Ridings have got very confused and need sorting out. The Elizabethan Fairfax family were very litigious. google.com/maps/d/u/0/vie…

I bought a map of London 1520 in TNA shop. It should help with the difficulties I am having in pinning London cases onto the Star Chamber website online map.

I intended to photograph STAC 5/G2/35 but I took STAC 5/G2/25 in error. It is just a Bill, quite short and, as Bills go, pretty legible. At first glance it seems to be perjury in a case over the ownership of a tinworks, possibly Madren Cornwall. Free to a good home. Any takers?

Serious matters in Star Chamber; the deputy director of the project, Northumberland & Durham historical docs , finds that many of our missing STAC 5 docs are lying in plain sight in STAC 2. I should be rejoicing, not saying "Oh Sh*t".

I'm reading this phrase, relating to Wheat, Barley, Rye & Oats, as 'yured & stacked in the said stackyardes' Can anyone shed any light on the word 'yured'?

Reynold Heron of Chipchase avoided trial for March Treason in 1588 by throwing himself on the Queen's mercy (we assume she was merciful as he was alive until at least 1612). A number of cases which have come to light through Helen Good shed light on his later life 🧵 1/n
