I have officially resigned from my volunteer role in Staffordshire Police today after nearly 20 years. Having spent nearly 15 years as a Special,until I joined Wmp in 2019 as a regular but continued as a Police Cadet Unit Commander. All the best everyone Kev Elscey

Today members of Cannock Cadets and EIPU attended the national Acquisitive Crime conference. During the conference they covered topics like retail crime, rural crime, metal theft and robbery and crime prevention.

Longton cadets decided to meet during half term for their annual Halloween party. Lots of fun, laughter and fabulous costumes It's always nice to have get togethers like these, to forge new friendships and get to know our newer cadets.

Yesterday at Cannock Unit we had a visit from BTP officers the night was very engaging and interested Cadets and Leaders both learnt a lot about the important role BTP play in the role of policing. Thank you for the officers who attend.

The Moorlands Cadets were visited by two local paramedics Sharney and Jack. The cadets were shown inside the ambulance, and then had a full demo on carrying out CPR; an invaluable tool. Their delivery was brilliant. Thank-you so much to you both! National Volunteer Police Cadets

Tamworth Cadets attended the Fire & Police Station. The cadets got try on different bits of kit, including breathing apparatus, and learnt the importance of having the right kit for the right job.
