Christian Thielemann wird ab 2024 die Nachfolge von Daniel Barenboim als Generalmusikdirektor an der Staatsoper Berlin antreten. Das verkündete Senator Joe Chialo soeben bei der Pressekonferenz vor Ort. Chialo: „Mit ihm sichern wir höchste musikalische Exzellenz für unsere Stadt.“

Berlins Musiktheater-Landschaft mit ihren drei Opernhäusern ist absolut einzigartig. Über 600.000 Gäste haben im vergangenen Jahr die Komische Oper Berlin, die Deutsche Oper Berlin und die Staatsoper Berlin besucht.
