First finished book of 2023; on winter. It ends warmly, in the spring. It’s a nourishing January read if dark winter days are sometimes darker than they need to be. #STPreads

Babel by Rebecca F. Kuang is brilliant. A feast for the eyes and heart and mind. The cover is a corker, too. #STPreads
