Some wonderful box sets for Equus by Peter Shaffer, designed by the L6th after studying the play - considering style, themes, context, practicality and the original production in 1973.

The U6th performed their stunning and thought-provoking devised play ‘Liminal’. This piece was inspired by The Paper Birds theatre company & Thorne’s play ‘Afterlife’. It explored potential liminal spaces in the moments after death. Sara Burns SLB Design

Congratulations to 4th form on their brilliant monologues this evening. From finding dead bodies, to being a dead body, to relationship struggles, to the courtroom, to frying a snake…Well done, some hard hitting, emotional, funny & well performed pieces by a talented cohort.

We had high expectations for Bluebeard by Wise Children, and wow. It is so full of heart and fun and theatre magic and brilliant live music. It’s violent and relevant and so clever. The ensemble are incredible. I want to see it again!

GCSE scripted exams tonight - Bottleneck by Luke Barnes & Us/Them by Carly Wijs. Both plays tell the heartbreaking stories of real life tragedies - Hillsborough disaster & the Beslan school massacre. Well done performers on these emotional and brilliant performances.

Poisoned Polluted by Kathryn O’Reilly & Wolfie by Ross Willis. Two plays about traumatic childhood events. These were performed fantastically on our final GCSE night.
