A lovely way to end the school year and the summer term at GrangeCESchool this morning St Paul's G-o-S. The Year 6 Leavers made a cairn reflecting on their time at school and their hopes for the future. Many prayers that they will know the loving presence of the Lord in all things.
Really good to see so many gathered St Paul's G-o-S for the first session to knit poppies for our #Remembrance celebrations and commemorations in November. #GrangeOverSandsRemembers Royal British Legion
Wonderful to see all six The Church of England primary schools on the Peninsula gathering together for a day exploring the story of the Lord’s call on the life of Moses. A day of immense fruitfulness as we seek first together the Kingdom of God. Such a joy to be involved. #DeoGratias
Lovely to journey the glorious Ripon Cathedral today to hear our Organist and Director of Music, Charles Edmondson give the Thursday lunchtime concert.
An absolutely tremendous effort from the children and teachers GrangeCESchool with their displays for #Remembrance in St Paul's G-o-S. Here we have Nursery’s hand poppies, Reception’s work on the purple poppy, Year 1’s work on the Flanders poppy, and Year 2’s work on #WW1 medals...
We are fortunate in St Paul's G-o-S to have a cross which once stood over the battlefield grave of a solider from Grange-over-Sands, brought back to the parish church by his parents. A poignant & vivid reminder of the sacrifice of so many. #Armistice100 #Remembrance2018 #LestWeForget
A beautiful service of Remembrance with GrangeCESchool this afternoon. Thankful to all the children and teachers for their imaginative and thoughtful work on #Armistice100. We are so blessed and thankful to God for our wonderful church-school links. Diocese of Carlisle @carlisleDBE
A beautiful banner created by the children at GrangeCESchool for this Sunday's special Civic Centenary Service of Remembrance. Thankful for all the effort that has gone into designing and creating it. #Remembrance2018 #Armistice2018 #LestWeForget
A fantastic day GrangeCESchool journeying together through the story of #HolyWeek through different prayer spaces. Excellent to see such creativity, honesty, and engagement from the children as we reflected on how Jesus’ passion, death and resurrection changes everything.
