We look forward to welcoming Year 10 and Year 12 parents and carers to St Michael's this evening for their respective curriculum evenings. Slides and recordings from the meetings will be sent home via Edulink later this week.

Breakfast Club has now moved to the main canteen and is open from 8am every day. All students who come along will able to take up the offer of free toast and/or porridge and fruit. It is a great way to start the day!

Our popular KS3 Debate Society takes place every Wednesday lunchtime and students get to debate on a wide range of engaging and relevant topics. Come along if you want to be challenged, speak up and learn how to debate. See Mr Devine or Mr Zanella for more details!

The Drama dept will be holding auditions for KS3 students for the St Michael's Christmas panto 'Robin Hood'. If you're interested speak to your Drama teacher and come along after school on the 19th Sept. We know this will be another brilliant production from the Drama dept!

Our popular music clubs have started again this week and there is a wide variety on offer. From Samba band, to choir, to the brass group and even ukulele! See Mr and Mrs Laurence in the music department for more details.

The newly elected school council reps from each form group took part in training with Mr Kelly today. They were tasked with identifying areas they could work on to support the school community this year and choosing 2 reps from each year group to sit on the school parliament.

Our clubs & societies timetable is packed this term! As well as a range of sports & music clubs, there are subject clubs e.g. Drama, Science, MFL, History and societies e.g. debating, homework, board games, gardening etc. to support students’ personal development and wellbeing.

Maths homework club starts this week, after school on Tuesday. Come along if you need help with a certain topic or if you want to complete some extra Maths challenges!

Our 6th form 'Big Ideas' lecture series returns this week with a talk by Catherine Collins KC about careers in criminal law, come along at 3:45pm this Thursday to G18 to hear from an expert in this field of Law.
