Today is Ash Wednesday. All are welcome to join us as we mark the beginning of Lent: 9am - Mattins and Litany 5pm - Evensong Confessions will be heard from 5:30pm 7pm - High Mass (with Imposition of Ashes) Hear us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we have sinned against thee.

Services at St John's this week. All welcome! There will be a Procession and High Mass at 7pm on Thursday 24th March, The Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is a Greater Holy Day and one of only two relief days during Lent, so please make every effort to come!

A treat to be St John's Tuebrook today, to hear Dan Mansfield sing plainsong and the Vicar preach on baptismal regeneration. He and I have been asked to rekindle the Prayer Book Society in Liverpool, beginning with Evensong at St John's on 6th August at 4pm and again at Michaelmas.
