A day to remember 💙

Tuesday 24th Sept marks the 40th Anniversary of the tragic school mini-bus crash which took the lives of four pupils and one teacher. We will be welcoming His Grace, Bishop David Evans to our school, who alongside Fr R Peck, will celebrate Mass and open our new Peace Garden 1/2

His Grace, Bishop David will be opening and blessing our wonderful newly designed Peace garden on the 24th September. This beautiful part of our school will commemorate those in our community who have lost their lives. Some photos are provided to give you a sneak preview!

The executive team have taken three days out of the office to meet up with all schools to discuss their plans for the new academic year. We support our principals by ensuring all individual priorities set for each school are effective and challenging.

All set for this special day. Remembering Keiran, Christopher, Timothy, David and Brian, along with their families and friends. 40 years may have passed, but they’ll forever remain in our hearts and prayers.

It was a pleasure to be part of such a special occasion.

Thank you Stuart Bathurst for hosting a special Mass to bring the community together and remember those students and staff who died during a minibus accident 40 years ago today. Bishop David Evan’s later blessed the new Peace Garden developed in memory of those who died.
