Welcome Back! On 27/07/20 the COP David Lynch welcomed Mark Caswell back to St Helena Police Service,he was sworn in as the police services latest SPC. Mark will add a great deal to the service we provide to the public and will be back on patrol in the very near future.

Police Family A welfare visit to our ex Chief of Police Gilbert YON at his home Ladder Hill. Chief Gilbert who is recovering from illness, was in good spirits, he enjoyed our visit and catching up. From all at the Police Directorate we wish Gilbert a speedy recovery.

Our Community and Operations Section said farewell to SPC Christopher Williams. I know his decision to leave was not easy, as he thoroughly enjoyed Policing and giving back to his community. we would like to thank you and your family for your Service.

Chief of Police David Lynch, who is always full of positivity and smiles leaves us today knowing that he has done the best that he could, made many needed changes and empowered many to continue the good work he started. Thank you Chief Lynch, you will be missed.

Sea Rescue 3 undergoing sea trials. After a long wait on parts from Japan, & with support from Government Garage team the vessels engine has now been repaired. The Vessel is now undergoing testing before going back on active operations.

Today we went to Longwood for community Engagement, we made a visit to the police post and on our way to the Longwood supermarket we made some interaction with the community and introduced ourselves as new police cadets!

Sea Rescue Vessel “Lima” Back online The vessel Lima undertook Sea testing after receiving engine repairs. Testing went well & the repaired engine is operating normally. The Vessel now been placed on standby for active operations.

PSgt Anthony Clingham retires after 41 years’ service, he has been the pillar of this community & it is with the greatest sadness for us as a Police service that he has retired. A thank you for all you have done over the years you will be sorely missed.

Carnival 2020

On the 11th month of the 11th day on the 11th hour, 2 minutes of silence was done outside of Coleman House by various members of the Police Directorate. Lest we forget!

Yesterday marks the last working day for Ag Sgt Morrison contract here with St Helena Police Directorate. Morrison interacted with our small community and adapted to our culture. He will be greatly missed! Thank you Ag Sgt Morrison for serving the community of St Helena.
