The native Florida turtles in our American waterfowl pond are expert sunbathers ☀️ These turtles are poikilotherms, or, as they are often called, cold-blooded animals. They are unable to regulate their body temperatures. Basking, or sunbathing, allows these turtles to warm up.

The Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan is rolling into the St. Augustine Alligator Farm on Friday, December 19, from 1-3pm, featuring the classic holiday-themed Coca-Cola truck, beverage sampling, and a free photo with Santa. It will be located in our main parking lot and is free for all!
