Resist the urge to let things slide when someone on 'your side' says or does something inappropriate. If they're truly on your side, they should be willing to correct their mistake. If they turn on you for calling out problematic speech/behaviour, they were never on your side.

You have the absolute right to change yourself as you grow and learn more about who you are on the inside, and as your body changes through time as well. If I'm your doctor and I can help you with any of it, I absolutely will and support you the whole time. πŸ–€πŸ’™πŸ˜·πŸ₯„πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

I'm taking a page out of
Jean-Luc Picard's book to remind you all that clear, well-defended boundaries are enormously helpful to your physical and mental well-being. As he frequently says, you are worth protecting! πŸ–€πŸ’™πŸ˜·πŸ˜·πŸ˜·πŸ˜·πŸ˜·πŸ₯„

You were a child. It was not your job to keep you safe, especially from the adults whose job it actually was. It wasn't your job to keep the adults safe either. You were a child. It is not your fault.

You deserve a supportive community that works to keep you and everyone in it safe. πŸ–€πŸ’™πŸ˜·πŸ˜·πŸ˜·πŸ˜·πŸ˜·πŸ₯„

Your emotional safety is equally as important as your physical safety, and anyone who doesn't honour that is not your friend.

Being sensitive is not being weak. It is being attentive and responsive. It is actively using sensor data. People will use 'sensitive' against you as a pejorative but they are wrong. Being attuned to your environment is a strength and your detractors are ignorant regarding that.

Any way that you label yourself is valid. This goes for your gender, your philosophies, your medical conditions, all of it. If your harmless label isn't currently fashionable, I don't care. All I care about is making you feel comfortable and safe in my sickbay. πŸ–€πŸ’™πŸ˜·πŸ₯„

You are allowed to take up the space that you require to exist. That is the minimum. You are allowed to take up more beyond. Your presence and your voice matters.

Learning to pick your battles is an under-rated skill. No ship has the resources to fight every potential foe. The Enterprise can't go after every evil entity we become aware of. Choose your battles wisely to focus your resources towards your primary goals as often as possible.

The things you imagine that you cannot do well enough are the same things that other people do poorly all the time without concern. Do things. Get things done. You need not be perfect at most things.
