This is huge. Unite, one of the UK's largest trade unions, has voted for a full arms embargo on Israel. Last week, the union voted to support members who refuse to handle weapons for Israel and support divestment campaigns. Solidarity with the workers.

Private finance deals have been a disaster for our public services! Yet they appear in the Government's recent NHS 10-year plan. Tell the Health Secretary, Wes Streeting - ditch the private profiteers and invest directly in our #NHS! Email your MP in 60 seconds. Link below 👇

PSA that this (further) (astronomical) hike in bills will be lining the pockets of shareholders and water execs. Public ownership is the only way we can get cleaner and cheaper water. bbc.co.uk/news/live/c4g8…

Today's Cunliffe report recommends that polluting water companies should be able to dodge fines. The stock market value of Water Companies has just gone up. Profiteering water bosses are celebrating while we're paying more for filthy water. Public ownership now.

Jeremy Corbyn (@jeremycorbyn) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Water privatisation has been a complete & utter failure. It is absurd that the government's report into the water industry didn't even consider public ownership. That's not a report. That's a political broadcast for the private sector. Put water back into public hands, now.

The UK government says it is doing everything it can to alleviate suffering in Gaza. The UK government won’t suspend the sale of F-35 parts to Israel. The UK government won’t stop the use of RAF Akrotiri or end military cooperation. The UK government won’t accept the ICJ

The British "wealth exodus" is a big fat myth. Stories of the wealthy fleeing from potential wealth taxes have been pushed by consultancies who sells "golden passports" and residence visas to their wealthy clients. They have a direct stake in pushing this narrative. 1/3

Say it everyday but I truly can’t believe Starmer chose this to be his legacy. Starving an imprisoned population will define his premiership. Taking office after 14 miserable years was the widest open goal in history and this is what you did with it. The shame is beyond words

Over 1/3 of children in Manchester live in poverty. In the six yrs I've lived here, I've seen gentrification and wealth extraction (esp through rent) rapidly accelerate. Spoiler alert that trickle down economics doesn't work x theguardian.com/business/2025/…

Great news! Don’t buy Israeli goods. Check the label on avocados, citrus (oranges, grapefruits, mandarins, lemons), dates, figs, grapes, pomegranates, persimmons, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, fresh herbs, and Dead Sea cosmetics. Co-op stocks none, but other supermarkets still do

We produce enough food to meet the needs of 11 billion people. But each year, 733 million people go hungry. Capitalism creates artificial scarcity.

I’m SICK of saying it, but I’ll say it again. Asylum seekers can’t claim benefits. You need an NI number to do that. Asylum seekers aren’t staying in 5* hotels. Asylum seekers get £49.18p a week to live on. Could YOU live on that? NOPE. So stop pretending they’re living it large.

"The standard technique of privatisation: defund, make sure things don't work, people get angry, you hand it over to private capital"

Sophie Conquest (@sophie_conquest) 's Twitter Profile Photo

We could boost job opportunities if we stopped handing over NHS money to private profiteers. In the last 5 years , NHS trusts have spent more than £1.8 billion on PFI interest. That's the starting salaries of 50,044 new doctors. So so sick of scapegoating workers.
