Very excited about our double panel at #SLAS2024 on the complex legacies of the Southern Cone dictatorships. The panel brings together interdisciplinary research on memory, memorialisation, exile communities, and transitional justice. Co-convenor/chair is Carole Concha Bell.

Difficult to stay positive in front of my students looking at election results almost everywhere & how the climate crisis is ignored. EU election results not surprising but it is still shocking to me seeing how we learnt apparently nothing from the mistakes of my grandparents 🤷‍♀️
