Kambili ✨✨ But what doesn't make it acceptable? Is it because she shared that she did it online? If she had done that anyway, got her money back and didn't tell anyone, would it be fine then? I think the issue people have here is her talking about it. She legitimately hasn't violated GDPR

A.T🍉 Sharing customer details with the police in afraid case is fine as that’s acceptable within GDPR like you said. Using the information to find their place of work (unless it’s required for the fraud case) isn’t acceptable

Kambili ✨✨ You can't steal from a company and then cry GDPR, the contract has been breached. You agreed for your data to be used to process a legit payment and exchange of goods, not to commit fraud. If this went to court, it would be in Fisayo's favour

Kambili ✨✨ She has used the customer data shared with her to try rectify fraud, which is covered. There's a reason certain GDPR laws are exempt when it comes to scams and frauds. The person didn't agree to their details being shared with the police in the event they commitedfraud did they?

Lewis ⚡ e/acc Oh gotcha I'm not sure google would work for me though it's mainly about corporate users so was thinking SMTP 😬😬😬 GDPR on the people you scrape you don't care, or? Like there's no "unsubscribe" button?
