If you have abdominal surgery with stitches, you’re told to rest

Yet

When I had a c-section that left me crippled in pain I was constantly “encouraged” to walk & pick up heavy baby

It was traumatic & the worst pain I’ve ever had for 8 wks

It is an obvious thing but often gets overlooked

Keeping hydrated & making it a priority is vital

Going further to supply it for free shows how much you care about their needs

(Especially for rotating staff who can’t keep bringing tea/coffee/milk everywhere) Basic Needs at Work 💛🧡 ☕️
