It’s just after midnight , we are travelling South on the M6 and Mark has his cemetery register book out so that can only mean one thing.. We are off to Ypres! We are looking forward to a fantastic 5 days with this group exploring the battlefield’s of Ypres and the Somme.

We made it safely to Dover and we are checked in and ready to board an earlier ferry than planned! We have had a great journey down the road and we look forward to getting to Ypres and exploring with our lovely group, staff and Darryl our Bibby’s coach driver. Bibby's of Ingleton

Well what a week we have had on the World War 1 Battlefields with Kirkcudbright Academy. The pupils and staff at the school were a real delight to spend time with and their empathy, knowledge and respect were obvious for everyone they met to see.
