Glad to see this petition happening. The fact the University wants to cancel all PGTA work which a lot of my friends rely on for money and that there will be no new counsellors when there is already so few is ridiculous

Seems logical to me that the best way to reduce costs is to look at what you're spending and see what's not giving you return. A certain VC has contributed nothing but frustration to my university experience, but PGTAs have taught many of my classes which I've thoroughly enjoyed

An absolutely devastating move. Many of us don’t have resources to work from home. Nor a suitable environment. This will mean the end of university careers for many, including myself, unless changes are made.

The university NEEDS to provide inclusive guidance and clarity moving forward! The amount of people who will be disadvantaged by this new framework is outstanding! Education needs to be accessible and the student voice needs to speak up to ensure things are put in place!!
