Ballooning student loan balances make it harder for working and middle-class borrowers to buy a home or save for retirement. The Administration’s proposal would cover borrowers’ unpaid monthly interest so their balance does not grow as long as they make their monthly payments.

A little over 200 years ago, this ichthyosaur was found in Lyme Regis, almost certainly by Mary Anning. It was described in 1819 & named ‘Proteosaurus’. Sadly, it was destroyed in London in 1941, during WWII. This illustration (top) was the only evidence we had, until now...

Ellen Terry’s famous Lady Macbeth “beetle wing” dress was designed for her by Alice Comyns Carr & was first worn on stage in Dec 1888. Meant to invoke fear, the addition of 1000 beetle wing cases created the effect of scales. Recently restored. #ShakespeareSunday #FolkloreSunday

I like that everyone on Twitter gets to experience what its like to work at a university: youre struggling to make the thing do what its traditionally meant/valued to do while a bunch of finance guys “innovate” all function & trust away; occasionally embarrassing rebrands happen.
