Got the 358 in the truck! Have some cleaning up to do around it, have to adjust the timing, then it’ll be ready to go.

Timing isn’t far off right now, even before we’ve checked it. Just needs a little bit. Started and ran great!

How’s the 18 in 2nd? Wasn’t he in 4th behind the 1 when the caution came out?

I had the right idea!

Has a chassis, shifters, steering column and wheels and rear view mirror now.

Now the 1990 dirt late mode has a chassis under it, roughly based on an old Larry Shaw chassis.

I would love to find a recording of some country music from a WIVK 107.7 broadcast from 1973 or 1974 or so.

I’d play that in my truck every time I went somewhere like a car show or something just so the music and news would be period correct to my truck.
