I loved presenting at the University of Glasgow Centre for Neurotechnology launch day on Monday Centre For Neurotechnology, University of Glasgow. Such an exciting & broad range of work already being undertaken to push boundaries of interfacing the brain and nervous system with cutting-edge technologies. Watch this space!
Prof Hadi Heidari presented his magnetic sensors, which are based on semi-conductors to measure EMG and could pave the way for next generation non-cryogenic non-OPM MEG.
We also want to congratulate our two poster prize winners Mircea van der Plas and Maria Cerezo Sanchez for winning the best poster award. Well done Mircea and Maria!
Nir Grossman presented his truly mind-blowing research using temporal interference tACS to stimulation deep brain regions, like the hippocampus to modulate memory and possibly treat Alzheimer's Dementia.
Our own Gang Li showed how we can use transcranial electric stimulation combined with EEG to treat motion sickness induced by VR. Gemma Learmonth discussed about the importance of well-designed control conditions for neuro stimulation, open science and registered reports.
