Crew from Shoreham this afternoon attended a small fire in a reptile enclosure. Fortunately it was out on arrival and the tortoise had been rescued by occupants. Crew made safe the incident and offered home fire safety advice. Do you have working smoke alarms? ‼️ 🚒🚒

It’s snowing in Shoreham, crew this morning have been carrying out training with foam. We use foam for fires such as vehicle fires and fuel fires.

Crew from Shoreham Fire Station will soon be responding to emergencies in a new appliance. The crew are busy familiarising themselves with its operation in preparation for it going operational. 🚒🚒

Training this morning and crew continued to familiarise themselves with our new first pump. Our Volvo appliance is now on the run and responding to emergencies. 🚒🚒

Shoreham Fire Station will be hosting a have a go day here at Shoreham Fire Station on the 13th of April. The event will be aimed at potential new retained firefighters or those who want to find out more about being and on call firefighters.

Saturday 13th of April Shoreham Community Fire Station will be opening its doors to people who are interested in a career as an on call firefighter. Why not pop along and see if you have what it takes to join the fire service.

Today here at Shoreham Fire Station we welcomed the Uniformed Protective Services Course from Shoreham Academy to the fire station. The visit included practical tasks to give the students an idea of what it is like in the fire service. Well done to all those that attended.

There’s four days until the crew here at Shoreham Fire Station open the doors to our station to the public. There will be rides, food and drink and stools, in addition to the chance to see our fire appliances up close. Crew will also be conducting live simulations of incidents🚒
