Your ‘25-26 Marching Generals!

Homecoming is only 3 weeks out! Time to put together the 26th Annual Alumni Band - Friday, September 12th! Let me know if you need an instrument, particularly drums and sousaphones. We might need to borrow from another school.

Another reminder to band alumni: Homecoming is next Friday and we'd LOVE to have you come back to perform at halftime! We'll practice at 5:30 but if you can't make it by then, just come when you can. If you haven't already let me know if you need an instrument, please do so ASAP

Thank you so much to the alumni who came out for our Homecoming halftime show. You always make the show more fun and sound even better. It was great to catch up with a lot of you, too. We’d love to see even more next year!

Today the band participated in Ohio University’s Band Day, performing in pregame and halftime with the Marching 110 and 16 other high school bands. It was great for our kids to see a high level college band, especially one in which our recent alumnus, Grant McCallum, performs in.

The Marching Generals had a great performance at Fairfield Union’s band festival tonight. Afterwards, we were presented with the Commendation Award for integrity, sportsmanship, supportiveness, and kindness - the RMA spirit! Proud of our kids!

Friday, October 10th is our Middle School Band Night. 7th and 8th grade band students volunteer to play with the HS Marching Generals in the stands, and at halftime. Here's the info sent home to parents 3 weeks ago.

The band sounded great and looked festive in the Circleville Pumpkin Show parade tonight. Stay tuned for another brand new halftime show on Friday!

Pre-game dinner for the band on Halloween. We’ve had amazing parents helping to feed the band all season and Wendy’s donated some chili for us tonight. Thanks, Wendy’s! Tonight is our new Halloween-themed halftime show.

The band put on a great end-of-season concert last night. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch and those who bid in our silent auction. We raised almost $3,500! Many thanks to the local small businesses and individuals who donated the auction items. Much appreciated!

The band had a great time performing in the Somerset Christmas parade today. Tomorrow - another parade in Thornville!

Despite the days off, the rock band class put on a great concert tonight. They came in early to put some needed practice time in and it really paid off. Proud of these guys and gals!
