Two excellent talks given by self-confessed "chemists who enjoy crystallography." Sebastian Pike shared how electron diffraction has benefitted his explorations in organometallic chemistry and Dr Andrea Laybourn @andrealaybourn.bsky.social described her group's successes resulting from ED on MOFs.
Congrats to all involved in the 4th Synergy-ED installation in Europe University of Southampton. The culmination of two years hard work headed up by Professor Simon Coles Simon Coles🇪🇺🇬🇧 . His vision to bring 3D Electron Diffraction to the whole UK community is now a reality. #3DED #microED
Fantastic for our X-ray RTP Warwick to be involved in this study.
We are please to confirm Dr David Walker from RTP Warwick who will be telling us about the new National Facility for Electron Diffraction. Meeting registration is still open at uksaf.net
