We’ve officially entered the planting phase of the Leta Shamba Nyumbani project with the elderly! After completing our sensitization and training last month, we’re now on the ground planting side-by-side with our elderly participants.

After a morning of teamwork, women fetching water, men mixing soil and manure, and Shella Environmental Youth Group assembling sacks, we moved straight into planting. The most heartwarming part? Watching the elderly take the lead.
