Woolwich raids remind us of another: prostitutescollective.net/the-soho-raids… Raids done to "save victims of rape & trafficking but no victims found. Migrant sws arrested & threatened w/ deportation. Closure orders justified because women “controlled” - when workers said in court they weren’t.

Planned amendments are worrying: labelling sex work & porn as violence. English Collective of Prostitutes ♀️ 🏳️‍⚧️ points out: why criminalise men who have not been reported for violence while the men women report aren’t investigated? Driving sex work underground makes it more dangerous for sex workers.
