Our mission to increase Alabama’s workforce opportunities will be foundational to the future economic success of our state. I am grateful to Governor Kay Ivey for the opportunity to carry out her vision and lead this effort as the first Secretary of Workforce. Let’s get to work!

Alabama’s economic future depends on a strong and skilled workforce. Recently, the Alabama Community College System (ACCS) announced a new expansion to their healthcare training program. This new opportunity will be critical to positioning Alabama as a workforce leader in healthcare. Great work!

This week, I had the opportunity to join my friend Todd Stacy and Alabama Daily News to discuss all that is going on in the newly created ADOW. Alabama’s workforce is the key to our future economic success, and we are hard at work to make Alabama’s future brighter!

Alabama’s future is incredibly bright because we have young people who are gaining skills and expertise to have meaningful careers and impact our economy. Last week, I had the privilege of speaking at the Alabama Destinations Career Academy (ALDCA) commencement. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

It was a great day in Jasper earlier this week at the groundbreaking of the Heman Drummond Center of Innovation. This incredible facility will train students and equip them to be some of the most highly skilled employees in America. Great work! Walker Area Comm. Fd abc3340.com/news/local/gro…
