In 1962 Norman Berry won the Wilson Run. 60 years later, his granddaughter, Jemima wins the same race. This is an amazingly special day for the family 🙏👏

Norman Berry started the 2022 Wilson Run yesterday to celebrate his win 60 years ago. 🥇 To top his day off, his Granddaughter, Jemima was the first girl home 🥇 & he was there to celebrate with her. An incredible day for the Berry family! 🏆 🏃🏼‍♀️🤍🐺🖤

On this day in 1853 Bernard Wilson was born. Wilson founded the iconic Ten Mile run, was a much loved housemaster of Sedgwick House, raised money for the beautiful chapel to be built and researched the first register of @SedberghOS. A gentle giant of a man.

Today was the final running session on the Howgills 🏔 for Year 13 Sam, twice Wilson Run Runner Up, and all-round nice guy! All the best Sam - you will be missed! Winder House

Chloe (yr10), Hannah (yr13) & Grace (yr12) all took on the Hawkshead 10km last night - good conditions and a few PB’s 👏👏 Hannah has made such incredible progress Sedbergh Running but this was her last run in a brown vest … will be plenty more as an @SedberghOS ❤️💙🏃🏼‍♀️
