We wrapped up the Michaelmas Term with a magical Carol Service

π Winder House are travelling to Ambleside where they will be immersed to a number of projects across the Brathay Trust estate
π οΈ A smaller group of boys will be joining Mr Arnold to help carry out some local work across the Sedbergh community
π Sedgwick House are making the short trip to our friends at Bendrigg Trust Accessible Outdoor Centre, Cumbria for a busy day of path clearing, chopping trees back and grounds maintenance
π΅ A separate group will be carol singing in Kendal, with money raised going to Bendrigg Trust Accessible Outdoor Centre, Cumbria & British Red Cross π§‘
π School House will be visiting Calvert Lakes in the Lake District for a busy day of manual labour:
πͺ Building outdoor sheds
ποΈ Painting and refurbishment
π Clearing paths and woodland areas
π Robertson House are covering three projects throughout today:
π οΈ Supporting fixthefells project at Helm Crag
π€ Visiting and helping at Horton Women's Centre
π Making and distributing crafts to the local Sedbergh community
π Powell House will be travelling across to provide support to Friends of the Lake District, helping to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the Lake District landscapes
π³ It'll be a busy day, covering miles across the fells and helping to remove tree guards
π Lupton Sedbergh are dedicating their time to 4 projects today:
π« Hosting afternoon tea & carols at St Mary's Church
π Packing Christmas backpacks to deliver to the homeless
π΅ Carol singing in a local care home
π½ Hosting a sports afternoon for 180 primary school children
