The results are in. The vast majority of Londoners and major businesses back our exciting plans for Oxford Street, so I'm pleased to confirm that we will now be moving ahead as quickly as possible.

Our consultation shows that 7 in 10 Londoners background plans to rejuvenate Oxford Street and 2/3 specifically support pedestrianisation. We're excited to press ahead with the Mayor's bold plans to establish the area as a global leader for shopping, leisure and outdoor events.
