A group of us joined the student walk-out at 11.11am and recited Gaza professor of English Refaat Alareer’s poem ‘If I must die’ on Maynooth University campus this morning as part of Day of Action for Palestine.

In collaboration with staff4palestine & PSS , GPSC organized a powerful event at Ollscoil na Gaillimhe | University of Galway. Flags waved high while students and staff marched, followed by speeches stressing Irish universities’ duty to sever ties with Israeli universities & honoring Palestinian Prisoners’ Day.

Brilliant turnout at today’s #DayofAction for Palestine. Students put up 🇵🇸 flags, staff organised a march with speeches & music. We observed a minute of silence for Palestinians killed in #GazaGenocide & urged cutting ties with Israeli institutions as committed by Ollscoil na Gaillimhe | University of Galway
