Breaking news from the Peregrine nest at Glasgow University! 3 eggs have hatched so far 🥚

Last week was a busy week for spring migrants, with the first Swifts, Whinchats, Common & Lesser Whitethroats and Garden & Wood Warblers arriving. Only one spring migrant is missing from our table (the-soc.org.uk/pages/spring-m…) now as we await the return of the Spotted Flycatcher.

The new exhibition at the SOC in Aberlady is now Open! Wed-Sun (10-5). Entitled 'Nature Re-imagined' it presents the work of 3 artists who use unconventional media to depict wildlife: collage by Paul Bartlett, recycled sculpture by Barbara Franc and stencil paintings by Jo Ruth.
