A few sightings from this morning - 2 Redshanks on the scrape along with 2 LRP's & 2 Wigeons, 2 Grasshopper Warblers on Dubbs trail and a Common Sandpiper on Barr Loch.

They're finally back! Great to see a few wood warblers while walking around SCENE today. Managed to get some decent views while they were foraging!

Clyde Birding A 👍weather day at last with warm sun & no wind so off to East Loch Lomond for the oak woodland specialist birds. 5+ singing Wood Warbler, 3+ Redstart, 12+ Willow Warbler, 2 Chiffies & 3 Adders basking in the morning sun, also my 1st Cuckoo @ Loch Ardinning SWT.
Sedge Warblers and Grasshopper Warblers have arrived and our 1st Garden Warbler of the spring was heard by the River Calder. It seems to be a good year for Willow Warblers with a provisional count of 53 on site. A Whimbrel has dropped onto the scrape this afternoon Clyde Birding
Reserve staff were out just after dawn this morning for a Breeding Birds Survey. The highlights were a Redshank, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 4 pairs of Lapwing and 3 pairs of Shoveler around the scrape with 2 more at the Barr Loch (1/2) Clyde Birding
