Star Trek character Scotty is being played by a Scottish actor for the first time!

At the end of season two, Martin Quinn appeared as a younger Scotty in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.He's returning for season three.

He told BBC: 'We are rebranding him. He's from Paisley now.'
