Year 7 classes have enjoyed developing skills in problem solving, collaboration and numeracy in science lessons delivered by Welsh water. The learners had great fun building model water systems. Thank you Mr Smith for organising and to Welsh Water for delivering the lessons.

Congratulations to Ethan (7JD) for being awarded science learner of the month for June. Ethan has had a perfect first year in science at Croesy. Excellent attitude and enthusiasm all year, finished off with a phenomenal end of year assessment score. Well done Ethan!

Year 10 learners have been answering the question of how materials for cellular respiration are obtained. What better way to familiarize learners with the digestive system than to model the system on aprons.

Science Learner of the Month for September is Lily-Grace. Lily has made an impressive start to science in year 10. Fully engaging in every lesson and completing all work to an outstanding standard. Amazing effort. Well done Lily-Grace!
