🧬 A 2025 JCI Insight study from Vanderbilt used LSALT peptide to reduce neutrophil binding to colorectal cancer (CRC) cells, highlighting DPEP1’s immune role. The authors suggest LSALT could pair with ICI (immune checkpoint inhibitors) and could lead to a viable therapeutic.
