Earlier this morning, the crew from Ambulance 1 (Oak Hill Station) was invited to join a local seniors group at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church for breakfast and to talk about what they should expect if they call 911 for a medical emergency.

Congratulations to Portland Deputy Fire Chief Shawn Neat as he works his final shift today in Portland! DC. Neat has also been a valuable member of the Scarborough Fire Department since August of 1995 working as a Per-Diem firefighter. Congratulations Deputy Chief Neat!

A power outage has been reported in the North Scarborough side of town. Traffic lights are back up and running off a generator. CMP reports 540 customers are without power and also reporting an estimated restoration time 11:45am. Use caution while traveling through the area.

WINTER WEATHER UPDATE: Scarborough Public Safety urges residents to prepare for a winter storm late Sunday–Monday, with 18–22" of snow possible. Charge devices, complete errands early, and avoid travel during the storm. Afterward, please clear snow from nearby fire hydrants.
